It's a nice, sandy though somewhat isolated beach.

One word Awesome, best beach in Ontario by far. Clean, loads of parking.

Parking is pricey, was quite busy on a Saturday so make sure you go early if you want to find a parking spot. Had to wade through knee deep water to get to the dunes due to flooding but the dunes were soft. I prefer to swim here than the beach by the snack bar since I can easily see my stuff on the dunes from the water.

Walking on the world's largest fresh water sand bar and dune system feels strange, lost, mystery and lots of question in my mind how it was created in first place. If you have never been at Sandbanks Provincial Park, then plan your next trip and walk behind the sand hills to stay away from crowds. Niagara Falls is boring compare to vast wilderness of sand dunes.

Beach itself is very unique. With very high elevation changes. Great place to view the sunsets. But you have to cross a very nasty looking swamp river to get to the dunes.
